H2Pro Heat Brush Review - 1 inch diameter

h2pro heat brush hot hair styling tool review

H2Pro Heat Brush Profile

H2Pro's Heat Brush is meant to be a multi-functional tool that takes the place of a combination of other hot tools such as your blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron, etc.

I was approached about reviewing this hot tool in collaboration with my review for Sedu's Daily Moisturizing hair care. I remember back when I was a kid my mom actually had a really similar hot tool, so reviewing this felt a bit like a blast fro the past! Though if I'm remembering correctly, hers came with a lovely 70s/80s goldenrod yellow handle.

My Thoughts - I have mixed feelings about this tool. If my hair was thinner, I think this would have been a better fit, but for my super thick hair, this 1" barrel was just too small to heat much of my hair at any time. I also found that even at a lower setting I could hear my hair "sizzling" when wet. This probably sounds odd, but I can't stand that sound! I also noticed that on my particular brush, the buttons on the handle were a bit hard to push. Those things aside, this heated up very quickly and curled or straightened thin sections of hair well. I would definitely suggest using a heat-resistant glove while styling hair with this tool if you tend to cup your hand around your hair as you pass the brush through to avoid fingers slipping through the rows of bristles and onto the hot barrel. If you have thinner hair and you're looking for a hot tool for quick styling or you want to condense your tools when traveling, this may be a great fit for you.

  1. I have very thin hair, so maybe this will work well for me!

  2. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this! I've gone back to really short hair, but it's good to know if I go back to longer hair.
