Smoky Gold Valentine's Day Tutorial 2

Last week I posted my first Valentine's Day tutorial of 2014 and I promised you something a bit more subtle and soft for those that don't want to wear super bright colors. As promised, here's my second tutorial!

Smoky Gold Valentine's Day Tutorial

This tutorial is full of soft, smoky browns, gold, some duos and glitter! It's soft and classic, but the duo and glitter give it a little something extra.

What you need to recreate this look:

Smoky Gold Valentine's Day Full Face Look

As I've mentioned before, I think any good eye look needs to look great both up close as well as from further away. I chose to create a nice pink cheek and glossy medium pink lip to complement (but not overpower) the gold, smoky eyes!

Quick instructions for face/ lip application:

I applied Whip Hand Cosmetics Set the Stage primer to my face and spot corrected a few areas on my face with my Graftobian palette. I contoured my face using MAC Sculpt, applied Make Up For Ever Blush #8 to my cheeks and highlighted with Hourglass Ambient Lighting palette. For my lips I lined and filled with Urban Decay 24/7 lip liner in Ozone then applied OCC lip tar in New Wave--one of my favorite glossy lip tars.

Here's the full face look I created to complement the eye look above.
