BeautyPopStop's Top 5 Valentine's Day Red Lips of 2014 - all permanent colors with lip swatches

While it's not mandatory to wear red lips on Valentine's Day, it's certainly a common choice! I chose red lippies below that are NOT limited edition so that if you like one or multiple shades you can still grab it/them if they're in stock. I have many favorite reds, many of which are LE, but these are some of the shades I think are most universally flattering and exceptional in regards to performance.

Without further ado, here are my top 5 Valentine's Day reds in no particular order...

1. Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics NSFW Cosmetic Colour Pencil

If you're looking for a nice primary red lip--not too warm or cool--this is a great option. While this is a lip pencil, it provides fabulous coverage and color. Leave it as-is for a matte pout or throw some clear gloss over for glossy lips.

2. Ardency Inn Modster Long Play Lip Vinyl in Original Mix

If you want the ultimate glossy red pout this is phenomenal! The color is amazing and multi-dimensional and the shine is out of this world.

3. Besame Cosmetics Besame Red

If you're looking for a vintage glam red pout, Besame Red is perfection. And who can resist that vintage looking lipstick tube?!
