Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Day Cream Review

dr. Hauschka moisturizing day cream review

Product Type

This is a face cream meant for daily use. It was designed for normal, dry or mature skin.

Scent

This has a natural citrus scent that is slightly sweet. It is pleasant and more subtle on the skin once absorbed, though slightly detectable.

On the Face

This has the consistency of a thin lotion, but it packs a crazy hydrating punch! I don't think I've ever come across a lotion this thin that was so insanely moisturizing. It smooths into the skin and leaves a dewy finish. While it isn't heavy, if you prefer facial moisturizers that absorb right in and leave your skin matte, this probably isn't for you. If you're like me and want something that really gets the job done (especially in this insane cold), this is a must! This did not irritate my sensitive skin at all and left my face very well hydrated. I'm totally in love with this!

Ingredients

Water (Aqua), Anthyllis Vulneraria Extract, Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot) Kernel Oil, Alcohol, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Bark/Leaf Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Daucus Carota Sativa (Carrot) Root Extract, Arachis Hypogaea (Peanut) Oil, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Hypericum Perforatum Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Glycerin, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Lecithin, Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Bran Extract, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Limonene*, Linalool*, Farnesol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Geraniol*, Citronellol*, Citral*, Eugenol*, Benzyl Salicylate*, Algin, Xanthan Gum
*Component of natural essential oils

Price

This retails for $39.95 (1 fl oz) or $69.95 (3.4 fl oz)

Dr. Hauschka Rose Body Moisturizer Review

dr. hauschka rose body moisturizer review

Product Type

This is a body moisturizer that is so gentle it can be used on both adults and children/babies! I absolutely LOVE moisturizers like that.

Scent

This has a beautiful natural rose scent. It is subtle on the skin, but detectable.

On the Body

This is almost like a cross between a lotion and body butter in consistency. It absorbs quickly and leaves skin soft, but not greasy. This moisturizer worked well on my sensitive skin as well as on my little guys (who also have sensitive skin) even with this bitter cold we're dealing with up here. This is phenomenal!

Ingredients

Water (Aqua), Rosa Damascena Flower Extract, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Alcohol, Glycerin, Pyrus Cydonia Seed Extract, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Lysolecithin, Cetearyl Alcohol, Hectorite, Rosa Canina Fruit Extract, Beeswax (Cera Alba), Rosa Damascena Flower Wax, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Fragrance (Parfum), Citronellol*, Geraniol*, Limonene*, Linalool*, Citral*, Coumarin*, Eugenol*, Benzyl Benzoate*, Farnesol*, Propolis Wax, Xanthan Gum
*Component of natural essential oils

Price

This retails for $39.95 (4.9 fl oz)

Where to Buy

This can be purchased through Dr. Hauschka's site

What do you think? Would you try these moisturizers? I'm absolutely in love!

  1. That day cream sounds awesome! Unfortunately I can't do the body lotion because florals really bother my allergies.

    1. Oh no! Fortunately for me there has to be actual pollen to set me off. There are a bunch of body moisturizers that don't have florals--worth a look! Here: http://store.drhauschka.com/naturalskincare/items/items-2-S1-lV1BODY-lV2bodymoist.aspx?store=
