Milani Profile

Milani is a well-known drugstore brand that creates everything from eyeliner to polish. They often feature some of the most on-trend colors and products. This fall, they've released a line of textured cream polishes in deep, dusty shades that align well with the once-again popular "grunge" trend--a revival of the popular "grunge" trend of the 90s.

I've swatched a few colors below and then created a gradient manicure with 4 of them!

Price

These retail for $4.99 (.45 fl oz/13.2 mL)

Where to Buy

These can be purchased directly through Milani's site HERE or through authorized retailers that carry Milani.

My Thoughts

I've wavered on the cream texture polishes for some time and I'm still not sure how I personally feel they look on my hands, but these apply really well, dry fairly quickly and the little bumps are nicely distributed across the surfaces of my nails. If you like cream polishes, these are definitely worth grabbing! The price is great and the color selection in this collection is on-trend.

What do you think? How do you feel about texture polishes?

Can we talk to for a second about return of the grunge? For those of you too young to have been old enough in the 90s to have experienced it the first time around, I didn't think it was particularly pretty the first go. Then again, it wasn't supposed to look pretty! I think that's my problem, my taste in cosmetics can be (generally) categorized into 2 types--cute and hollywood glam. I like pretty! I always have. I don't have an issue with those that like the "grunge" trend, I just can't really embrace it myself. I had plenty of friends that did back in the day though! What about you? Were you rocking ripped jeans and Kurt Cobain shirts back in the day?
