LUSH Christmas 2013 Review

LUSH Christmas Profile

Lush is an international company that creates handmade bath, body and cosmetic goodies. They pride themselves in offering quality products filled with natural ingredients. They are very vocal in regards to the fight against animal testing and tend to support a number of other worthwhile causes as well (something I personally love). In my opinion, they tend to put out some of the cutest holiday products.

I swear, you open a box of these goodies and they practically sing "Santa Baby" to you while dangling Mistletoe over your head and throwing glitter-coated snow in the air! Yes, I am aware I have a borderline unhealthy relationship with my Christmas bath products--I just can't help it!

Where to Buy

These products can be purchased on LUSH's site HERE or through their brick and mortar stores. I spent some time talking to a lovely online customer service rep as well as a sales associate at my "local" LUSH and from what I understand, new products will be launching every week or so to add to the existing holiday products in the U.S. Some of the products available in the UK are not yet available here, but will be coming! Yes, I'm talking about the highly coveted Santa Lip Scrub. And yes, I am stalking the site and store for it like a crazy person!

LUSH Bombardino Bath Bomb Review

LUSH Bombardino Bath Bomb Review

Product Type

This lovely little guy is a bath bomb.

Scent

Bombardino smells like lemons and cream with a tiny tart twang (alliteration!) at the end.

In the Tub

This little guys is meant to be placed in your tub where he'll fizz and fill your tub with delicious lemony luxury! From my experience, LUSH bath bombs fizz like nuts and make the entire bathroom smell divine.

Price

This little guy retails for $5.25

Where to Buy

LUSH Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar

LUSH Christmas Penguin Bubble Bar Review

Product Type

This adorable penguin is a bubble bar, meant to produce mounds of bubbles in your tube when broken up under running water.

Scent

This little guy is scented like the Olive Branch shower gel I reviewed HERE

In the Tub

LUSH offers some of the best bubble bars I've ever used! You know those bubble bars that create one pitiful little layer of wimpy bubbles? That is the opposite of what LUSH bubble bars give you! One bubble bar has always produced mountain upon mountain of lovely bubbles for me.

Ingredients

Price

Christmas Penguin retails for $7.45

Where to Buy

Christmas Penguin can be purchased through LUSH's site HERE

LUSH Melting Snowman Bath Melt

Pop this guy in the tub and let him melt, your water will turn silky and hydrating--so nice!

LUSH Rose Jam Shower Gel Review

Product Type

This is a shower gel or body wash.

Scent

This has the most beautiful fresh rose smell! I love rose, but find some products are extremely heavy and grandmotherly. This is fresh and gorgeous! I think it's one of my favorite LUSH scents ever and I need more of it!

In the Shower

LUSH shower gels lather really nicely and clean well. I always use mine with bath poufs and find them to be great body washes.

Ingredients

Price

Rose Jam retails for $10.95 (3.3 oz), $19.95 (8.4 oz) or $29.95 ($16.9 oz)

Where to Buy

Rose Jam shower gel can be purchased through LUSH's site HERE

LUSH Sandy Santa Body Butter

LUSH Sandy Santa Body Butter Review

Product Type

Sandy Santa is an exfoliating body butter bar meant to be used in the shower--time to get personal with Santa's face ;)

Scent

Sandy Santa smells of florals mixed with citrus at the end. The smell is pretty and fresh--I like it!

In the Shower

I love LUSH's body butters and their exfoliating body butters are great if you tend to like sugar scrubs (this solid form is super convenient)--I may be addicted to sugar scrubs, just saying. Their body butters are insanely hydrating and the addition of the exfoliating ingredients help slough off dry skin.

Ingredients

Price

Sandy Santa retails for $9.95 (4.5 oz)

Where to Buy

Sandy Santa can be purchased through LUSH's site HERE

LUSH Snowcake Soap

LUSH Snowcake Soap Review

Product Type

Snowcake Soap is a meant for hands or whole-body use.

Scent

Snowcake soap smells of sweet marzipan and whatever base ingredients LUSH uses in their soaps (they all have the same end note to me).

In the Shower

LUSH's soaps are lovely! They lather well and they're creamy rather than ... squeaky (if that makes sense) on your skin.

Ingredients

Price

Snowcake Soap retails for $7.95 (3.5 oz)

Where to Buy

Snowcake soap can be purchased through LUSH's site HERE.

Lush Snowman Bath Bomb

LUSH SNowman Bath Bomb Review

Product Type

This little guy is a bath bomb filled with extra bits of cocoa butter.

Scent

Snowman bath bomb is the snow-baby of Butterball bath bomb, meaning they have the same delicious scent and ingredients! If you've never used a LUSH Butterball bath bomb check out my previous review HERE

In the Tub

Like Butterball, Snowman smells delicious enough to eat and creates the most hydrating tub with its bits of cocoa butter. Such a lovely bath bomb!

Price

Snowman bath bomb retails for $5.95 (3.5 oz)

Where to Buy

Rose Jam shower gel can be purchased through LUSH's site HERE.

LUSH Christmas Wishlist

Now that I've had the chance to check out a great selection of LUSH Christmas products, I've created a wishlist of the ones I still need to get my hands on. Want to know what's on it?

  • Rudolph face cleanser (in-store only as it has to be kept cool)
  • Santa Baby lip balm
  • Santa Lip Scrub
  • Christmas Eve bubble bar
  • Cinders bath bomb
  • Candy Mountain bubble bar
  • Buche de Noel cleanser
  • Fun Tin

And then of course I need to replenish my store of massage bars and body butters because I'm starting to run low! They are some of my all-time favorite LUSH products.

What will you be grabbing from LUSH this holiday season?
