Knesko Skin Diamond Radiance Natural Collagen Face Masque Review

Knesko Skin Diamond Radiance Natural Collagen Face Masque Review
The Diamond Radiance mask comes in 2 pieces--upper and lower.

Product Type

This is a face masque meant to do the following according to Knesko Skin:

  • Rejuvenates the skin, improving its youthful radiance and glow
  • Brightens the skin, instantly reducing signs of fatigue
  • Diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Neutralizes free radicals with powerful anti-oxidants
  • Increases hydration and protects the skin from further moisture loss
It is paraben-free, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, and ophthalmologist recommended.

The Masque

This face masque is unlike any I can remember using. Rather than being made of fabric or paper, it felt as though it was made of silicone, which had been drenched in the skin treatment serum. The Diamond Radiance face masque uses Diamond Powder (according to Knesko Skin), which penetrates deep to deliver its skin-beneficial qualities. This mask also contains Jojoba oil, Marine Collagen, Hyaluronic Acide and CoQ10.

This has the most amazing scent as a result of the aromatherapeutic rose essential oil used in the Diamond Radiance line. I love rose essential oils, so this was heaven to me! It's strong enough that you can detect it while wearing the mask, but light enough that it not overpowering by any means.

On the Face

This mask is meant to be worn for 20-30 minutes--I wore it for the full 30. Knesko suggests placing the packet containing the mask in the freezer or warm water for 5 minutes prior to use depending on the season and your preference. Given how cold it is right now, I let mine sit in warm water for 5 minutes prior to use and the warmth of the mask was amazing once applied!

While wearing this mask I found I had a slight tingling coldness all over my face, but it was not uncomfortable. I did not have any irritation with my sensitive skin during or after. Wearing the mask can be done while sitting up from my experience, but I found it more relaxing laying down with it on. However, if you're like me and constantly doing something, this can definitely be used while you're upright in my opinion.

I'm not sure if my face is just a bit smaller or if the mask is actually large on everyone, but I did find that I had to overlap the upper and lower pieces in order to get both on my face. I also found that the nose section was very large on my nose. While it doesn't say you can trim the mask, if you find yours is as large on your face as mine was (I had at least 1/2 of an inch extra past the tip of my nose), I'd suggest trimming it as I later did because it made breathing through my nose a bit difficult as the end sucked in over one nostril each time I inhaled. Again, this may not be an issue for everyone as faces come in all sizes and shapes.

When I removed the mask, there was a little bit of the serum left on my face. I massaged this into my skin as directed and it quickly absorbed. I did use my regular face cream within half an hour because my skin can get very dry very quickly in the fall and winter without extra hydration.

I know you guys are dying to see what this looks like on, so for those of you that don't follow me on instagram (I posted a sneak peek earlier) here you go!

Face mask review similar to Japanese paper mask, Knesko Skin face masque

My Thoughts

I loved this mask and the way it worked on my skin--its purple iridescent glow was such a fun detail, too! It was easily one of the nicest I've ever used and my skin looked and felt amazing afterwards--firmer and brighter. The price tag may be a little high for some, but if you think about the fact that these average out to $37.50 each, while a basic facial at a high-end spa (at least up here) is easily over double that and you have to make time for it (plus drive there and back), you may find these are actually more economical if this is something you like to treat yourself to.

Knesko Skin Nanogold Repair Eye Pads

Knesko Skin Nanogold Repair Eye Pads Review

Product Type

Eye pads meant for use under eyes. They do the following according to Knesko Skin's site:

  • Ophthalmologist approved and recommended
  • Diminishes puffiness, dark circles and signs of fatigue
  • Helps firm, brighten and hydrate the under eye area
  • Reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
  • Conveniently portable for use when traveling or on-the-go

These are paraben-free, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic, and ophthalmologist recommended.

The Eye Pads

According to Knesko Skin, these eye pads use nanogold particles to stimulate circulation and temperature, allowing your skin to better absorb the skin-beneficial ingredients. These pads include Marine Collagen, Elastin and Hyaluronic Acide as well as Aloe Vera. They are meant to reduce fine lines/wrinkles and reduce puffiness.

These are also scented with rose essential oil--which you know I love.

Under the Eyes

These pads sit nicely under each eye. I prefer cold items as opposed to warm under my eyes, so I chilled these prior to use and they felt amazing! These have the same silicone-like feel to them and they are also drenched in serum. I could not find instructions on the packet as to how long to leave these on for, so I assumed it was the same as the face masks and left them on for 20. I had no irritation with use.

These retail for $50 (set of 4 pairs)

My Thoughts

I love eye care product! I've been wearing a decent amount of eye makeup daily for 16+ years, so I take great care to treat my eye skin well. These are absolutely the type of products I look for and I would definitely purchase these and use them again! They are so incredibly luxe and my under-eyes looked refreshed after use. I think these could make a great treat for yourself or someone you know--Chritmas gift or stocking stuffers perhaps? If I was getting married (again), I'd totally buy a set of these and split them up and put them in my bridesmaids' gifts. This could also make a great gift for new moms--I swear I never had circles under my eyes until my kids were born!

If you tend to splurge on skin care, I definitely recommend checking out Knesko Skin!

What do you think? Would you purchase either of these products for yourself or gift them this holiday season?

  2. So cool! These look just like the mask that Adriana had on before her wedding on Real Housewives of Miami. Great review!

    1. Can you believe Miami and DC are the ONLY Housewives series I'm currently not following? lol No specific reason, I just never got into either and since the others keep my DVR full, I haven't tried again!

  3. This looks like it would feel very nice on the skin!

  4. This is really neat. And you have a great point that it's actually quite economical compared to a spa facial!
