Fabulous Fall Beauty Vol 2: LUSH The Olive Branch Shower Gel, Figs & Leaves Soap

Products in this post were provided by PR/the brand

Fall is officially here! If you're like me and love fall, you're probably in heaven! The one downside to fall (at least up here in New England) is that it gets very cold and dry. It's already frosty and crisp out--which I love--but it means my dry skin is even more needy than before! I've got 2 fun bath goodies from LUSH, which are perfect for fall, to help leave your skin so soft and hydrated its practically begging to be touched--you and your significant other will thank me ;)

I dare you to try to pry yourself out of the shower/bath this fall if you get either of these goodies!

L to R - The Olive Branch Shower Gel, Figs & Leaves Soap

Lush Profile

Lush is an international company that creates handmade bath, body and cosmetic goodies. They pride themselves in offering quality products filled with natural ingredients. They are very vocal in regards to the fight against animal testing and tend to support a number of other worthwhile causes as well (something I personally love). Keep an eye on them because they tend to put out the cutest holiday products!

Figs and olives are on the "menu" today! Get excited!

LUSH The Olive Branch Shower Gel Review

LUSH The Olive Branch

Product Type

Softening, soothing bath gel

Scent

The Olive Branch Shower Gel has a citrus-y, spicy scent that's warm and a bit on the sophisticated side. The Hubs loves scents like this and has stolen it for himself!

In the Shower

This is meant to be softening and it really is! My plan of attack with my skin (and my family's skin) in the fall is to hydrate from every angle--right down to the shower gel and soaps we use. This is perfection in terms of hydrating the skin.

Note: Make sure you shake it as the instructions say prior to use so that the buttery Fair for Life olive oil mixes into the rest of the shower gel.

Ingredients

Price

This retails for $9.95 (3.3 fl oz), $18.95 (8.4 fl oz), $28.95 (16.9 fl oz).

Where to Buy

The Olive Branch Shower Gel can be purchased on Lush's site HERE

My Thoughts

I love this! If you are dying for a nice spicy shower gel this fall (yes, I completely change all the scents we use in all of our products to match the season--that doesn't make me crazy, right?) then this is definitely one to consider! It is absolutely fall-appropriate and I think one that will appeal to those that want a more sophisticated, unique fall scent with some extra hydration. For those that avoid parabens, keep in mind that this does contain parabens.

Lush Figs & Leaves Soap

LUSH Figs & Leaves

Products Type

Body soap for irritated and sensitive skin (right up my alley!).

Scent

Figs & Leaves is a mix of subtle spice and soft fruit scents. It is not overpowering and honestly, it's almost edible smelling on the final note!

In the Shower

Just one touch of this buttery soap and you can tell it's hydrating! This is chock full of aloe and hydrating oils. Just grab a bath poof, lather some of this in and enjoy!

Ingredients

Price

This retails for $7.60 (3.5 oz)

Where to Buy

Figs & Leaves can be purchased on Lush's site HERE

My Thoughts

I love this! I'm very picky about bar soaps because I find so many to be drying or leave a horrific film. This was lovely to use and very hydrating on the skin! I would strongly recommend leaving this in your shower in an area where it won't constantly be under the water so you can take advantage of every last crumb.

Final Thoughts

I love both of these products and I think that for anyone with dry skin trying to beat the cold this fall, these are winners! The scents are lovely to boot--another big plus. I think the prices for these products are very reasonable, especially given the quality.

If bath products give you warm fuzzies (yes!), I strongly suggest heading over to LUSH online or in-store because they are responsible for so many amazing things on my list of "must haves" and I guarantee you won't be able to walk away empty-handed!

Have you tried either of these shower products from LUSH? What's your favorite go-to fall bath/shower product?
