Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk & Green Apple Blemish Clearing Peel Review

Products in this post were provided by PR/the brand

If you've been following my blog, you know I described my fabulous experience with Juice Beauty's Blemish Clearing Cleanser not long ago (see the original review HERE). I'm happy to share 2 more products from Juice Beauty with you today!

And don't forget to stop by the Fall Transitional Beauty Tab on my blog after to see the products and looks I've highlighted so far in my summer-to-fall beauty must-have series.

Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk Review

Product Type

Juice Beauty Cleansing Milk is a facial cleanser that is meant to deep clean and even remove makeup. It is meant for all skin types.

Application

To apply, rub into damp skin in a circular motion, then rinse. This does not lather per say, but smooths into the skin easily and rinses well. It did not leave a film on my skin.

Cleansing

I found this to thoroughly cleanse my skin without causing irritation or excessive dryness (I always moisturize after cleansing, but find some cleansers suck my skin completely dry). I used this alongside my favorite moisturizer and had no issues during the 2 weeks I used it.

Makeup Removal

This did remove my makeup very well including several waterproof products. It did not remove the most budge-proof makeup I use (such as Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Genius), but this typically only removes with heavy-duty remover.

Price

This retails for $22.

Where to Buy

My Thoughts

I think is a fabulous facial cleanser and loved that it wasn't irritating to my sensitive skin. I have used other cleansing milks in the past, but often found them to be gentle to the point of not really cleaning my skin. This was strong enough to completely clean my face.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Blemish Clearing Peel Review

Product Type

This is a facial peel meant to exfoliate and heal skin. It is recommended for oily, combination, and blemish-prone skin.

Application

This has a really interesting consistency. It's almost a slightly sticky gel and it smells like apple baby food--not unpleasant at all! It spreads easily on to the face and is meant to sit there for 10 minutes prior to being rinsed. A moisturizer should be applied after. It can be used up to 2 times per week. I used it 1x per week because my skin is more sensitive, though as I hover around 30 I'm starting to notice some areas of my face that have become a bit more combo than dry in nature.

Irritation

Unlike many peels I've used, this did not irritate my skin and did not cause any stinging. It was comfortable to wear for the full 10 minutes.

Effects

This definitely resulted in a clearer and brighter complexion for me! While this is meant to hydrate skin and it certainly did not dry my skin out, I would suggest following the recommendation to moisturize after.

Price

This retails for $39.

Where to Buy

My Thoughts

I really like this peel and I'm surprised my skin handled it without a hitch! It did not have the harsh effects so many others I've tried have had, but made a noticeable difference in the overall appearance of my skin. I have since added it into my beauty routine 1x per week. I highly recommend giving it a try! While I can't speak from personal experience on its effectiveness on acne-prone skin, I would think it should be effective given that it was developed for those that regularly suffer from blemishes. One of my sisters has this issue and I will be recommending she try it because it is such a great product.

Have you tried Juice Beauty products? Will you be trying either of these?

  4. I'm SO scared to try peels, but this sounds gentle enough! I really like that the Cleansing Milk can remove waterproof! I usually use an oil-free eye makeup remover, and it irritates my contacts. Does this?

    1. It did not irritate my eyes :) I am careful not to get anything in my eyes since they're sensitive, but I had no issues with it!
