Product Profile
I've been familiar with Juice Beauty for some time and have been impressed in the past with some of their products. Those of you that have followed my blog over the years know that I have a preference for natural ingredients, especially when it comes to my skin care. I've always admired Juice Beauty for its healthy products and jumped at the chance to review for them again. I reviewed this cleanser over the course of 2 consecutive weeks in order to give you an accurate opinion on how this cleanser really works--especially for my sensitive skin. My skin is generally clear, but the closer I hover around 30, when my hormones are out of whack each month I tend to have to be extra careful with my skin or I will get a few blemishes. I also have to work a bit harder than usual to prevent it from getting dull--oh the joys of getting older!Price

Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser Review
Purpose
This cleanser is meant to deep clean your skin while healing and hydrating it simultaneously--according to Juice Beauty. It is meant for those with oily, combination, or blemish-prone skin.
Scent
Have you ever used or smelled Apple Cider Vinegar? This has a much lighter, less pungent Apple Cider Vinegar smell to it. It is not offensive (in my opinion), does not remain on the skin, and does not burn your nose like Apple Cider Vinegar will.
Application
This comes in convenient pump, which I personally prefer to tubes. You simply wet your face with warm water, apply this in a circular motion to your face, then rinse and moisturize.
Cleansing
This cleansed my skin very well. I tend to get small blackheads on my nose and I noticed this drastically reduced them in size.
Blemish-Prevention
As I mentioned above, for the last year or so I've noticed that once a month my skin struggles a bit with small breakouts (just a few blemishes at most). I'm fortunate to have decent skin, but prior to this recent change I never had to worry about it at all as long as I used skin care that didn't irritate my face and cleansed reasonably well. Now, I have to make sure I'm using something that provides a really decent solution for combination skin (I tend to be dry combo lately). I don't have oily skin, but each month I have a couple trouble spots and if I'm not careful I will get a few blemishes. I happened to use this during the period of time during which I'd be most susceptible to blemishes and was incredibly impressed by how well my skin did during this time! It was clear, smooth, and blemish-free 100%. I can't speak on how it would work for someone that suffers from greater skin trouble, but judging by how it worked for me I'd say this would do the trick for a number of people.

Final Thoughts
I love this cleanser and plan to incorporate it into my personal skincare regime! Not only was my skin clearer, but the texture was actually better and more even overall! It was smoother and almost a bit firmer, but very soft at the same time. I used this in conjunction with one of my favorite face creams and had no trouble with irritation. Love, love, love this! Again, I don't know how it will work for those with severely oily or blemish-prone skin, but I can say it works for those with combo skin that suffer monthly from small break outs. Judging by how it worked for me, I'd absolutely say this is worth trying!
If you struggle with blemish-prone or combination skin, would you give this a try?

This sounds great. I deal with a lot of acne for a 26 year old and I'd love to try something new in my routine!
ReplyDeleteThis is really pretty impressive to me! It may be worth a try :)

ReplyDeleteOooooh! Nice!
DeleteI've tried a few Juice Beauty items and so far I haven't been disappointed. I may need to pick this up as well!
ReplyDeleteYay!
DeleteInteresting review thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks :)
DeleteThey don't use salicylates in their blemish-clearing range do they? It's just fruit extracts. Glad this worked well, I was wary of trying this range on my skin but it may be worth a shot...I'm essentially 100% clear now but I like to anticipate...never know when you'll get a stress spot.
ReplyDeleteSigh...one more wish to add to the Juice Beauty list...at least I have the satisfaction of saying I knew about them way before Vogue or InStyle etc. found them. Internet window shopping FTW!
(I may have to get that small blemish clearing essentials set for my brother for his birthday to improve his skincare regime. What a shame, if I get him some Juice Beauty, some other products may jump into my shopping cart and find their way home too! And he won't be able to use those! OH NOES!)
