Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colour Review and Swatches

I posted swatches of these lippies a few weeks ago on Instagram shortly after I received them for review because I was beyond excited, but I wanted to make sure I did a full review here regarding my experience with them because they are that fabulous--which is saying a lot given how picky I am!

Mirenesse's Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colours are similar in size to the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Pencils, but they are incredibly pigmented, smooth, and can be used on your cheeks and lips. I haven't tried them on my cheeks yet, simply because I haven't had a chance to, but I can absolutely see how some of these could double as cheek tints. Let's dive into the swatches then discuss performance...

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colour in Air Kiss - A wash of pink shimmer

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colour in Angel Kiss - a deep neutral brown-pink

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colour in Butterfly Kiss - this looked very similar on my lips to MAC Creme d'Nude

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colour in Electric Kiss - a vampy brown-red (it skewed a bit more brown in pictures than in person)

Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colour in First Kiss - a gorgeous pinup red (this skewed a tad more orange in pictures than in person)
Mirenesse Glossy Kiss Lip Cheek Colour in Romantic Kiss - a copper-penny pink

Application/Wear

These are incredibly smooth and glide onto your lips like an amazing balm with fabulous pigmentation. I easily got as much opacity as each offered with one swipe. These were not drying at all, I'm happy to say!

Price

These are priced at $26.95 USD each.

Where to Buy

These are available on Mirenesse's website HERE and HERE.

Final Thoughts

I am incredibly impressed by these! They are far more opaque and hydrating than my former favorite lipstick pencils. The price is a tad pricey for us here in the states, but I think if you find a color you plan to wear over and over (and you're a lipstick junkie like me) it's worth giving one a try! Also, I've noticed Mirenesse does a lot of sales through their facebook page so I recommend following them there to take advantage of one if you can. I'd love to try some of their other reds and pinks, it looks as though there are some fun, bright shades--and you know me and bright colors!
